Congrats on starting your meditation practice. It's always nicer to go with the flow, and meditation can help with that. I will say though (from my experience), the effect you're looking for will come easier if you don't seek it.
Meaning, don't meditate with benefits in mind, but try to allow the practice to transform you into a person that can flow. This means a whole lot of letting go.
I know that's abstract, but it's the best way I can explain in based on my experiences.
But either way, congrats and I look forward to hearing more about your experiences with it.
