Control Of The Mind Can Be Yours With This Peaceful Yet Powerful Technique

Controlling the mind is possible, but it calls for a passive approach.

At some point, we’ve all tried to swim against the flow of thoughts, but end up dragged down river, tossed against the rocks, beaten, bruised, and defeated.

By interfering with thoughts, they get much more aggressive.

However, a way to control the mind exists, and it has nothing to do with forcing and everything to do with surrender.

I know that seems strange, but there is something to it.

Going Against The Flow

When the mind is anxious and busy, it’s like a machine, continually churning out the next story to be upset about.

Its nature is to think, and stopping it by brute force won’t work.

I know from experience as a professional over thinker that attempting to control this natural process is pointless and exhausting.

Whenever I give it a shot, it feels like I’m trying to push water upstream. Instead of making progress, I end up desperately splashing around, causing more of a mess than there was before.
