First, I hope you and your family are doing better now and that the cleanup doesn't last too much longer. I can only imagine what it's like. I've had to contend with tornadoes before, but not tropical storms, hurricanes, or typhoons. I wish you all the best in this very difficult situation.

Your poetic prose piece is amazing though. So many clever lines that I had to stop and take breath before moving on. And the way you described the moon is so clever, as well as the conversation you had with it.
