Great article! This resonated pretty strong with me. I'm known for being a musician among my family and friends, and writing here on medium threw everyone for a loop, and not many understand. But I felt this compulsion to give more of my time and energy to writing than music because there was a gravity pulling me in that direction. But it's been hard to fully commit and dive in because of my past attachments with my identity as a musician. But like you said "the harder we hold on, the more we stand in the way of everything new that has potential to work out for the very best for us."

This was just very encouraging and something I needed to hear, so thank you.
