How To Find Peace With However You Feel
Without awareness, emotions can change the way we experience things.
Sometimes I’ll only see the bad in things when I’m feeling upset, sad or angry. Because of that, I can miss out on the good that is there.
And when I’m feeling blissful and happy, I tend to only see the good. That’s great and all, but when I’m only looking at the good, I might skip any bad that is there and end up walking into, or worse, staying in a harmful situation.
With that said, emotions aren’t the problem. They are perfectly normal and because I feel, I can live a more colorful life, and I’m grateful for that.
But where things get sticky is when the emotion is so intense that we get carried away and only see what it wants us to.
Because of that, it’s important to learn how to notice emotions so they don’t paint a false picture of reality.
