I also stopped replying to those comments where they'd highlight the last sentence and toss two words on top of it because it was clear they're not actually reading the piece. I wish that didn't happen so much on here.

Also, based on a post you made awhile back that convinced me to keep track of who reads me and who I owe a read to in my spreadsheet, well it's still working very well for me, so thanks for the inspiration! It's allowed me to not only get more traffic to my pieces, but build some connections on here that are more than just surface-level interactions, which is a great feeling. Now, I don't always have time to read 20+ posts a day, but whatever I read, I try to keep the connection high quality, and I think that's a good thing.
