I feel like my brother and I caught the end of this era growing up in the 90’s and early 2000’s. There was more tech but nothing gluing me home or keeping me always connected to my parents.
Childhood was mostly outside. Arcades were still a big deal. Blockbuster was an event. I love that time and I miss it.
Being always connected through my little light rectangle and streaming services these days is so convenient that it kills the joy of a lot of things. But it is what it is I suppose.
