I never really considered any system like this. I've just been kind of winging it when it comes to engagement and creating my reading list. I've been doing what I can, but without a way to account for it all, I'm basically running around with a blindfold on.

Looking back on the last year or so, I can only imagine how many people fell off my radar simply because I didn't have a way to keep track of those I like to read and have often read my pieces.

I think your system is really smart and I'm going to keep this article as a reference as I start putting my system together.

Also, I appreciate you saying that by paying for the FOM membership, that you are willing to play by Medium's rules of engagement. And that's what it's about there. Engagement is king. But the nice thing about that is we find so many great people to connect with on this site. But without a system, things get muddied up and lost.
