I really like this article. Like normal, your ideas get me thinking.

Content made to stimulate stats comes across hollow, and almost everyone can feel it when they see it. And I don't know, I may very well be a part of that problem.

But plugging into a feed full of that is, I don't know, underwhelming I guess. Plus it reminds me of the content race I keep being told I need to take part in if I am to succeed or do anything in this realm with writing or any other form of creation.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this, and I don't mean to use your comment section to think out loud, so sorry about that.
