I think different ideologies are fine. It's the lack of understanding and acceptance towards them that creates conflict.

And for the ideologies that prioritize the oppression of others in any way, I think that those who carry such idealistic views lack something in their life that we as people can give them - understanding and compassion. Usually when someone feels heard, understood, and loved, they feel less inclined to harm others.

And then, in those extreme cases where they are intent on causing damaged no matter what, for the "greater good" in their mind, I suppose the only way to meet that is with equal opposition in a way that prioritizes deescalation vs annihilation.

But that's just my opinion off the top of my head.
