I think love is the answer, and it's like being a well full of fresh water. People can come and drink, but the well never asks for the water to be returned, so it's a selfless act. Then there are those you see who are dying of thirst, but you can't make them drink. They have to choose it. The best you can do is be there, open, offering, and let them decide.

Part of that is being a deep and thoughtful listener which is a great act of love. Also selfless and giving. It's tremendous and something the world needs more of.
