I've had the same reactions from others to my poetic thoughts. I tend not to share much with family anymore. My wife maybe, but mostly I just write them, most get tucked away, some get posted here.

I love how you speak about poetry though. It's beautiful, as is this piece you wrote!

It reminds me too, when I started looking at things through the lens of poetry, I'm pretty sure that's when I realized I was alive. It's an amazing thing.
