I've noticed engagement is slower during the summer. I'm by no means super successful on Medium, but when I look at last summer, it was slow then too.

Anyway, I think it's good to take a break from here now and then. Enjoy your time (if you take it) and I hope you come back to Medium with the focus on topics and such that you want to have.
