Short form content turns my brain into jello. When it had a stronger hold on my attention, I'd walk away from a seemingly endless scroll completely dazed and with something I could only explain as a dopamine hangover.
Choosing to consume less overall has helped, but also bringing in long form content. My attention span has gotten better and I don't regret leaving a bunch of those bad habits in the past.
