How to naturally quiet your mind, lift your heart, and strengthen your spirit.
Stress is relieved when a chaotic mind calms and a heavy heart lightens up. A solid way to enter this state is through communing with nature. This is because the heart and mind heal with ease when immersed in nature… so long as you let it. The chaotic mind loves to interrupt and block this as often as possible.
It doesn’t matter if you are lucky enough to walk through some of the most beautiful forests in the world, or sail the vast ocean at sunset. If you allow stress and worries to accompany you, then you miss out on all the beauty, relief, and healing that could’ve been.
Communing is more than just being in nature. It’s being with it.
How to commune with nature
Sometimes taking a walk through a park is nice and enough to unwind the mind for a bit. But sometimes you need something more potent. In these cases, I find it best to tap into and attune to nature.
I’m sure there are different names for this practice, but “tapping in and attuning” is what I call it, and it’s how I commune with nature. Each time I do, I walk away better…
