The emotion makes it a heavy read, but it's written so well it's easy to glide along with the tragedy. I feel for Lena. She was pulled in by Maretta and promised love, but did it ever come in the way Lena desired? It's as if in the end, she's headed to the ocean to wash this all off and start fresh.
