This articles speaks to my soul. I started on Medium trying to emulate successful writers, focusing on catchy titles, formatting my pieces for skimming, and just trying to play the game.

It grew so old so fast.

Thinking about writing another article that is like everyone else's makes me feel nauseous. I've been exploring with poetry more, and other genres that are colors I like to paint words with, and it's been such a joy.

I know very well that my writing will probably never reach any heights that anyone would consider successful. But the deep waters feel better on my soul.
