Wonderful article! What grabbed me the most was the part about the student in Jeremy's workshop. He was convinced he's a portrait painter but, with Jeremy's guidance, found out that the bluebird in his heart sings a different tune.

This makes me wonder how I might be limiting myself by saying that I'm a certain type of creator, when perhaps my heart is in a different place. I need to pay more attention to those random moments of inspiration and not shrug the off so often, especially the ones that don't seem to fit the type creator I've declared myself to be. Your article has me considering that those times I think something is cool for no apparent reason might actually be closer to my heart and allow me to create something more honest and authentic than any piece of work I've forced out to validate the title I gave myself.

There's a lot for me to unpack here, but I'm very grateful! Thank you so much for this article. It was a pleasure to read.
